1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Stelward Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the Islam Pro mobile application (“Islam Pro” or the “App”).

By using Islam Pro, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

2. Age Eligibility

Islam Pro is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe that a person under 18 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at support@stelwardstudios.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

3. Information We Collect and Process

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Islam Pro may collect or process the following categories of information.

Certain information processed through Islam Pro, including AI prompts, prayers, worship activity, community posts, and Khatm participation, may reveal or relate to a user’s religious beliefs or practices. This information is processed only when the user chooses to use the relevant feature and is used to provide, personalize, secure, and moderate the requested App functionality.

3.1 Account and Profile Information

If you choose to sign in using Google or another supported authentication service, we may receive and store:

  • Your user identifier;
  • Name and display name;
  • Email address;
  • Profile picture or profile picture URL;
  • Authentication and account status information;
  • Account creation and last sign-in timestamps; and
  • Premium access status.

This information is used for authentication, account management, community features, Premium access, and synchronization across devices.

Signing out of Islam Pro or disconnecting a sign-in provider does not automatically delete your Islam Pro account or associated cloud data.

3.2 Cloud Synchronization Data

If you use cloud synchronization, we may store information associated with App functionality, such as:

  • Preferences and selected settings;
  • Dhikr and worship activity counters;
  • Favorites and saved content;
  • Reading or activity progress; and
  • Other information you choose to synchronize.

Cloud synchronization is optional and is linked to your authenticated account.

3.3 Location Information

With your permission, Islam Pro may process approximate or precise location information, including latitude and longitude, to provide features such as:

  • Prayer time calculations;
  • Qibla direction;
  • Local weather;
  • Nearby mosque search;
  • Location-based recommendations; and
  • Location personalization.

Precise location access is optional. You may deny or revoke location permission through your device settings, although some location-based features may become unavailable or less accurate.

Location coordinates may be transmitted securely through our cloud infrastructure to location and weather service providers, including WeatherAPI and Geoapify, when necessary to provide a requested feature.

If you manually search for a city or location, the search text may be transmitted to OpenStreetMap Nominatim or another search provider to return matching locations. We treat this conservatively as application search activity that may be collected and shared for App functionality.

We do not intentionally create a permanent history of precise coordinates in the Islam Pro application database. However, limited technical or security logs may temporarily contain request-related information, and third-party providers may retain information according to their own policies.

3.4 AI Assistant Messages

When you use the AI-assisted features in Islam Pro, the messages, questions, prompts, and related conversation context you submit are transmitted through Google Firebase Cloud Functions and then to OpenAI to generate a response.

Before the first message is submitted to the Believer’s Assistant, Islam Pro displays a prominent disclosure explaining that the user’s messages will be transmitted through Firebase to OpenAI for response generation. A message is transmitted only after the user provides affirmative consent. If consent is declined, the message is not transmitted and the Believer’s Assistant cannot be used.

This information is processed to:

  • Provide the requested AI response;
  • Maintain the context of the current interaction;
  • Personalize the requested experience where applicable;
  • Prevent abuse and maintain security; and
  • Diagnose service errors.

Islam Pro does not intentionally save your AI conversation history in its primary application database unless a feature expressly informs you otherwise. However, requests may be processed or temporarily logged by cloud and AI service providers for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and legal compliance according to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.

Do not include passwords, financial credentials, health records, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive personal information in AI prompts.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. They are provided for general informational purposes and should not be treated as authoritative religious, legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Users can report problematic AI-generated responses directly within the App. When a report is submitted, the relevant user prompt, AI response, selected report reason, language, model information, source feature, and available account identifier may be retained by Stelward Studios for investigation, safety improvement, abuse prevention, and policy enforcement.

3.5 Voice and Audio Information

Features such as recitation or verse recognition may require microphone access. When you activate such a feature:

  • The App records the audio you choose to submit;
  • The audio is transmitted through Google Firebase Cloud Functions;
  • The audio is sent to OpenAI for speech-to-text processing; and
  • The resulting transcription is returned to the App.

Islam Pro does not intentionally save submitted audio recordings in its primary application database. Audio and associated technical information may nevertheless be processed or temporarily retained by infrastructure and AI providers for service delivery, security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, or legal compliance according to their respective policies.

Microphone access is optional and occurs only after you grant permission. You may revoke the permission through your device settings.

3.6 User-Generated and Community Content

If you use community or sharing features, such as Dua Fellowship, Khatm participation, reading rooms, or similar interactive features, we may process content including:

  • Display name;
  • Prayers, messages, or text you submit;
  • Participation and reading information; and
  • Other content you voluntarily create.

Depending on the feature, this content may be visible to other users. Do not post confidential, sensitive, or personally identifying information in public or community areas.

We may review, restrict, or remove content where necessary to operate the service, enforce applicable rules, respond to reports, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.

3.7 Photos, Camera, Media, and Files

Islam Pro may process photos or photo-related information in the following circumstances:

  • Receiving your profile picture or profile picture URL from your chosen sign-in provider;
  • Creating and saving verse, hadith, dua, or other shareable cards;
  • Saving or sharing generated files and PDFs; and
  • Using the camera for Qibla or augmented-reality features.

Camera images used for Qibla or augmented-reality functionality are generally processed locally on your device. Islam Pro does not intentionally upload your personal photo gallery or camera feed for these features.

When you choose to share generated content, it is transferred through your device’s operating-system sharing interface to the application or recipient selected by you.

3.8 Purchases and Subscription Information

Islam Pro offers monthly, yearly, and lifetime Premium purchase options.

Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. RevenueCat is used to verify purchases, manage entitlements, restore purchases, and synchronize Premium access.

We may process information such as:

  • Purchased product identifier;
  • Subscription or entitlement status;
  • Purchase and renewal status;
  • Transaction-related identifiers; and
  • Store and platform information.

We do not directly receive or store your full payment card details. Payment information is handled by the applicable app store and payment provider.

3.9 Device, Advertising, Analytics, and Performance Information

The App and its service providers may automatically process:

  • Device or advertising identifiers;
  • Device type and operating-system information;
  • IP address and approximate location derived from network information;
  • App version and language;
  • App interactions and feature usage;
  • Advertising interactions;
  • Crash logs;
  • Diagnostic and performance information; and
  • Security and integrity signals.

We use this information to operate and improve the App, diagnose problems, measure feature usage, prevent abuse, protect the service, and display or measure advertising.

Advertising providers such as Google AdMob may process device identifiers, approximate location, advertising data, and app activity under their own privacy terms and your applicable consent or device settings.

4. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain Islam Pro;
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts;
  • Synchronize selected data across devices;
  • Calculate prayer times and Qibla direction;
  • Provide location, weather, and nearby mosque features;
  • Generate AI-assisted responses and audio transcriptions;
  • Operate community and user-generated content features;
  • Process, verify, and restore Premium purchases;
  • Deliver, personalize, and measure advertisements;
  • Monitor performance and diagnose crashes;
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Respond to support requests and developer communications;
  • Enforce our terms and protect users; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Services

Islam Pro relies on third-party services that may process information on our behalf or as independent service providers. These services may include:

  • Google and Firebase services: authentication, databases, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, application integrity, configuration, and infrastructure;
  • Google Sign-In: account authentication;
  • Google AdMob: advertising delivery and measurement;
  • OpenAI: AI-generated responses and audio transcription;
  • WeatherAPI: localized weather information;
  • Geoapify: nearby mosque and location-based search functionality;
  • OpenStreetMap Nominatim: manual city and location search;
  • RevenueCat: purchase verification, entitlement management, and subscription infrastructure;
  • Google Play: Android application distribution and payment processing; and
  • Apple App Store: iOS application distribution and payment processing.

6. Advertising

The free version of Islam Pro may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob or related Google advertising services.

Advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app interactions, and advertising data to deliver, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure advertisements.

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising activities may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under some regional laws. Available choices may depend on your location, consent selections, device privacy settings, and advertising identifier controls.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the features you use;
  • Maintain your account and synchronized data;
  • Manage purchases and Premium access;
  • Satisfy legal, accounting, or security obligations;
  • Resolve disputes; and
  • Prevent fraud or abuse.

Retention periods vary depending on the data type and purpose.

AI messages, audio, location requests, analytics events, crash reports, and technical logs may be retained by relevant service providers under their own retention practices and contractual obligations.

Public or community content may remain visible until it is deleted, removed, or the related feature or account is deleted. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.

8. Account and Data Deletion

8.1 Clear All Data

The “Clear All Data” feature available in Islam Pro deletes the synchronized application backup and selected App data associated with that function.

This action does not necessarily delete:

  • Your Firebase Authentication account;
  • Your basic account profile;
  • Your Google or Apple account;
  • Purchase records maintained by an app store;
  • Information that must be retained for legal or security reasons; or
  • Data independently retained by third-party service providers.

Signing out, uninstalling the App, or disconnecting Google Sign-In does not automatically constitute a complete account deletion request.

8.2 Complete Account and Data Deletion

Users can permanently delete their Islam Pro account and associated cloud data directly within the App by navigating to:

Settings → Account and Synchronization → Delete Cloud Account

After the user confirms the request, Islam Pro permanently deletes the associated Firebase Authentication account, basic account profile, cloud synchronization backup, reported AI responses linked to the account, and Prayer Brotherhood posts and Khatm rooms created with that account.

Local application data stored only on the user’s device is not deleted by this operation. Deleting the Islam Pro account does not delete the user’s Google or Apple account and does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or Apple App Store subscription. Purchase and subscription records retained by app stores, RevenueCat, or other service providers may remain subject to their own legal and operational retention requirements.

Users who cannot access the App may also request deletion of their account and associated data by emailing:

Requests should be sent from the email address associated with the account. We may request reasonable verification to prevent unauthorized deletion.

Certain limited information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or compliance with applicable law. Any retained information will be limited to the applicable purpose and retention period.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access controls and encrypted network connections where supported.

No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

10. International Data Transfers

Stelward Studios and the service providers used by Islam Pro may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

Where required, we rely on applicable contractual, legal, or organizational safeguards for international data transfers. Privacy and data-protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
  • Request a portable copy of certain information;
  • Opt out of certain targeted advertising or sharing activities; and
  • Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

12. California Privacy Notice

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related laws, including rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising activities.

We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. Advertising providers may process identifiers, approximate location, advertising information, and app activity in ways that may be treated as “sharing” under California law.

California residents may submit applicable requests to support@stelwardstudios.com.

13. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Similar Regions

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar legislation applies, the legal basis for processing may include:

  • Performance of a contract or provision of requested App functionality;
  • Your consent, including for optional permissions and advertising where required;
  • Our legitimate interests in maintaining, securing, and improving Islam Pro; and
  • Compliance with legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent through App settings, device settings, consent controls, or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Islam Pro, our service providers, or applicable laws and policies.

When we update the Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date. Where required, we may provide additional notice through the App or another appropriate method.
